6 Months

It's hard to believe that Raeya is now 6 months today.

It seems like just yesterday she was born and at the same time both

Aidan and I can't even remember what life was like without her.

Babies are such a blessing!!

With the sun shining we decided to go outside our condo

and take a couple of 6 month pictures.

Mom Mom Mom

Just in time for Mother's Day....Raeya has decided that her first word is Mom!!!

Now whether or not she knows what she's saying is another thing :o)

Bouncing Baby

Call it laziness but I only just put together the Jolly Jumper for Raeya.

Better late than never I say.....she loves it!!!

Major Milestones.....

THE BOTTLE AND THE SOOTHER!!!

For the first 5 months of her life, Raeya was not at all interested in a bottle or a soother. In fact it would make her incredibly angry if we even tried.

While we were in Ontario Aunty Becky helped us out...and it worked. The good ol' Playtex drop in liner bottle was the trick. Becky had a hard time getting Nik to take a bottle and this one worked for her so we were hoping it would work for us.

On her own terms!!

She's cool with the bottle now as long as she can hold it. I'm OK with that :o)

For the past couple of weeks Raeya's been playing with a soother but in the last week she's learned how to suck it. When I give it to her she usually spits it out right before she falls asleep but this time I was able to take a picture while she was sleeping with it in.

Now that she's become a little more independant...Aidan and I are thinking we might be able to get a round or two of golf in TOGETHER this summer while Aunty Kortni babysits. YIPPPEEEE

Owen's Baptism.....

On April 13 we were able suprise Aidan's step sister Ashley and her family by showing up to owen's baptism.

We already can't wait for the next visit....we don't know when it will be but whenever it is, it won't be soon enough.
